BOT Café Usage Policy

Robotics Co-Working Space By BOT Engineers

Welcome to BOT Café. This space is created to support learning, building, and collaboration. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, we kindly request all users to follow the guidelines below.

1. Capacity & Slot Availability

  • To maintain a productive environment, we can accommodate up to 10 persons per hour.
  • Workspace usage is slot-based.
  • Walk-in access is possible only if slots are available.
  • Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Pricing

Walk-in Hourly Rates:

  • Single (1 Person): BDT 150
  • Double (2 Persons): BDT 240
  • Triple (3 Persons): BDT 330
  • Double Double (4 Persons): BDT 420
  • Silver: 20 hours at BDT 83/person/hour (up to 2 members)
  • Gold: 50 hours at BDT 100/person/hour (up to 3 members)
  • Platinum: 85 hours at BDT 125/person/hour (up to 5 members) — includes complimentary snacks per session and 20% product discount

Membership hours are prepaid and do not expire. Additional hours can be purchased as top-ups at the same per-person-per-hour rate.

3. Payment & Slot Confirmation

  • We kindly request users to complete payment before starting work.
  • After payment, please confirm your slot with the Lab Assistant.
  • Access is considered confirmed once the Lab Assistant approves the slot.
  • The Lab In-Charge oversees final access and scheduling to ensure fairness.

4. Support from Staff

  • Our Lab Assistant is available for slot confirmation, equipment guidance, and safety.
  • The Lab In-Charge ensures smooth operation and may step in when needed.
  • We appreciate your cooperation with their guidance.

5. Equipment Usage

  • Shared tools include soldering irons, multimeters, and electronics workstations.
  • Use tools responsibly and only for their intended purpose.
  • Return equipment to its designated place after use.
  • Inform staff immediately if you notice any issues with tools.

6. Safety & Precautions

  • Follow proper soldering and electrical safety practices.
  • Use soldering tools only in designated areas.
  • Avoid leaving heated tools unattended.
  • Immediately inform staff if any unsafe situation arises.

7. Cleanliness & Care

  • Please keep your workspace neat and organized.
  • We request basic dusting and cleanup after completing your work.
  • Dispose of wires, solder waste, and components in the proper bins.

8. Co-Working Etiquette

  • Maintain a respectful and collaborative environment.
  • Keep noise to a reasonable level.
  • Be mindful of others sharing the space.

9. Responsibility & Liability

  • Please take care of your personal belongings.
  • Users are responsible for any damage caused due to misuse.
  • BOT Café takes no responsibility for unattended items.

10. Policy Updates

These guidelines are meant to keep the space safe and enjoyable for all. BOT Café may update policies when necessary to improve the experience.
